I’m currently a doctoral student in the Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics department at the University of Pennsylvania advised by Dr. Kevin Turner & Dr. James Pikul. Previously, I worked in the Organic Robotics Laboratory at Cornell University, led by Dr. Robert Shepherd and the Space Systems Design Studio, led by Dr. Mason Peck. I’ve also worked with the GRASP (General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception) Lab at the University of Pennsylvania, and at SpaceX and NASA.

I am very interested in bio-inspired machines, materials with tunable properties, advanced manufacturing, and multifunctional materials for actuation & sensing.
